Saareen Junaid
Princeton University, Class of 2023
Saareen is so excited to be a part of Policy Punchline! She is a sophomore who was born and raised in South Florida. Her interests are the performing arts, economics, history, and religion and the intersections among them. In her freshman spring, she took Introduction to Macroeconomics, despite being nervous because she was completely new to the field. She realized that she loved studying the basics of economics, and she was excited by how much more she could learn. Therefore, she joined Policy Punchline to learn more about how economics is applicable today, especially within the contexts of history and religion.
In her free time, Saareen loves to sing pop and musical theatre songs, record covers, write poetry, swim, and do makeup. She performs for various student theatre groups on campus, like PUP or PSAT, but you can find her most often studying anywhere in Murray-Dodge, the home of the Office of Religious Life.
