Maggie baughman

Princeton University, Class of 2021

Margaret “Maggie” Baughman of Columbia, Maryland, is concentrating in the School of Public and International Affairs and pursuing Certificates in Chinese Language and Culture, Applications of Computing, and Statistics and Machine Learning. Her interest in epidemiology stems from working on data analysis for the Grenfell and Metcalf labs in Princeton’s EEB department. Her research focuses are data-driven policy, international security in the Indo-Pacific, digital freedom, and combatting misinformation. She writes on misinformation and propaganda, the Chinese military, and quantitative methodologies.
